108 SAM3 Filters Distributed

Reported by Rebero Jean d'Amour, Story written by Amanda Mulder

During the month of November 2020, 108 SAM III filters were distributed to families from Iyantende village. Training on using safe water and hygiene promotion was also given to the filters beneficiaries.

Leonard's family of 9 was one of the families to receive a filter this month. He told us, “My wife and I are blessed of seven children. I am very happy to get SAM3 filter for using to clean water. Before I was using uncleaned water from Mugesera Lake .This filter will help my family and other neighboring people to drink clean water and it will enable us to save money because the one we used to buy firewood for boiling water will no longer be spent”.
