83 SAM3 Filters Distributed

Reported by Consolée UWIMANA, Story written by Amanda Mulder

In April, Water Project volunteers worked four days a week to sift and wash sand for SAM3 household filters. Consequently, the team was able to assemble and distribute 83 SAM3 filters to families in Bare and Karokora village in the Rukumberi sector.

In addition, volunteers visited 115 families with SAM3 household filters, 7 facilities with SAM2 community filters, and 7 churches with rain water harvest systems. There were no serious issues identified during these visits.
